ONE CELL, MANY WAYS TO GET AWAY
Light, removable and properly equipped, the X PLORER adapts to very different trips, terrains and stay lengths.
Its controlled weight and compact format keep your pick-up manoeuvrable across different terrain.
At around 380 kg without options, the X PLORER limits the weight added to your vehicle. It's just as much at home on long road trips as it is on dirt-track outings or more remote camps.

Its layout brings together the bed, storage, kitchen and water tank you need to head off for a few days or several weeks.
The X PLORER works just as well for a spur-of-the-moment getaway as for a longer road trip. The equipment available as options then lets you tailor its comfort and capacity to each traveller's habits.

The cell can be removed between trips so you get back the everyday use of your pick-up and its bed.
Fitting it requires no permanent modification to the vehicle. The X PLORER can also be taken off, letting you use your pick-up more normally if you need to day to day.

A LAYOUT THAT KEEPS YOUR PACE
The X PLORER's layout switches easily between a comfortable living space and a night-time setup that can sleep up to four travellers.
The X PLORER offers an extendable 200 × 170 cm bed while staying at around 380 kg without options.
The bed extends out to offer a genuine resting space, then folds away to free up the living area during the day. The X PLORER combines a generous bed with a light, versatile design — and it can sleep three to four travellers.

The three-seat bench and folding table let you transform the living space in moments.
In the morning, the cell opens up into a clear space to get ready for the day. When you stop, the table and bench create a comfortable spot to eat, work or check the route. This flexibility lets you adapt the interior without adding equipment or extra steps.

Storage is spread under the seats, under the bed, along the walls and overhead.
This layout spreads clothes, supplies and gear across several easy-to-reach spaces. Movement around the cell stays unobstructed, and each traveller can quickly find their own things.

The worktop lets you prepare meals directly outside, so there's no smell of food inside come bedtime.
The outdoor kitchen offers enough room to set up a stove and prep ingredients. It keeps cooking smells and heat out of the living space while keeping utensils close at hand.

CHOOSE THE EQUIPMENT THAT SUITS YOUR TRIPS
The X PLORER comes with the essential equipment built in and lets you choose the electrical solutions that genuinely match your travel habits.
45 L
A 45-litre tank for everyday needs
The 45-litre tank supplies the kitchen and the outdoor shower outlet via a Seaflo pump. The pump delivers 4.3 L/min for using the sink, washing up or enjoying the outdoor shower. How long it lasts then depends on the number of travellers and how much each one uses.

An electrical setup matched to how you use it
Battery, solar panel and heating can be selected to suit the season and length of your trips. For occasional getaways, a simple electrical setup can be enough. Travellers staying out longer can add a battery and a solar panel to make recharging devices easier. An Eberspächer heater can also be added when trips fall during colder periods.

At around 380 kg without options, the X PLORER keeps your pick-up manoeuvrable — and only takes up space in the bed when you actually need it.
At 380 kg without options, it limits the load added to your vehicle and keeps your pick-up versatile.
The structure, built mainly in aluminium, reduces overall weight, while steel reinforcements strengthen the areas under the most strain. This design lets the X PLORER handle everyday driving just as well as long trips and dirt-track outings.
Closed to drive, raised to live in: the X PLORER adapts its height to the moment.
With the roof closed, the cell stands at 140 cm and keeps a compact profile while driving. Once set up, the roof rises to give 196 cm of interior height. You can then stand up and make full use of the layout. Total vehicle height depends on the pick-up model.
The X PLORER can be fitted before you set off, then removed between trips so you get your vehicle and its bed back.
The optional telescopic jack legs let you raise the cell before positioning the pick-up underneath it. The X PLORER is then lowered and secured in the bed. It generally takes between 10 and 40 minutes, depending on your experience. The Camper X team is there to guide you through your first installation.
Installation requires no drilling and no permanent modification to the vehicle.
The bed and tailgate stay as they are. Once the X PLORER is removed, you get your pick-up back with no irreversible changes. This means you can keep a single vehicle for travelling, working and getting around day to day.
